A young boy is orphaned at a young age, he is adopted by a a public official, someone who works for the president, but the man is wicked and horrid to the child. The man kept the child locked inside his house, telling him that he was a ''monster'', that he was ''ugly'' and ''unloved'', the man scared the poor child into thinking the outside world is bad, that everyone hates him and would try to kill him if he ever left. The woman who served as the child's nanny, secretly homeschooled him and taught him reading and writing, of course he learned fast and showed to be of great promise. As the child grows into a teenager, he becomes quite dark, but not emo or goth, just a very dark personality, he is known to get into fist fights with his ''father'' and despises him and the environment he was kept in. One night they got into a very bad fight, and blood was spilt, splattering all over the room, He had knocked his ''father'' out, and he liked the feeling of it, the feeling of winning, of being able to defeat his source of pain and anguish. Soon he became addicted to that feeling, and he wanted more and more, then he wanted revenge on the entire society that ''has done him wrong.'' (refering to what his ''father'' had told him, 'the world hates him and would try to kill him if he ever showed his face outside, hes a monster, etc.'
Once he cannot stand being in the house anymore, he runs away with his meger possessions, but not before stealing a very large sum of money from his fathers bank account. Outside in the world he meets others that are like him, including a young girl with the ability to read minds and levitate things, she is just about his equal, and he offers her a partnership, along with her band of 'friends.' Our young teenager finally realizes that maybe there are good people out there, including his new partner, but there is still a majority of people that need to be punished for their wrong doings.

Characters:

Mason
"Our main character, the little boy."

He makes you think of a regal ruler. He has deep-set sapphire eyes. His luxurious, straight, brown hair is worn in a very short pony tail when with others, down when he is not. He has a narrow build, he is rather tall. His skin is pale. He has an elegant nose and a strong chin. His wardrobe is revealing, and is mostly black and brown, sometimes red or blue.
Mason is a very intelligent individual, though he was homeschooled. He has a dark personality, not goth or emo, he just has a dark view of life and its people, and an un-paralleled sense of right and wrong. He is rather cold and uninterested towards others around him, except for his band of acomplices. His acomplices would describe him as a brilliant leader, yet tends to rant and rave, lock himself up in his room for days, be rather sadistic, yet loveable at the same time. He has a heart, but its buried rather deeply, and it only starts to show itself when he meets Claire.

Claire

This girl reminds you of a malevolent demon. She has wide eyes the color of green emeralds. Her thick, slightly- wavy, chestnut brown is waist-length and is worn in an elegant style. She is somewhat tall, but shorter than the guys, and has a graceful build. Her skin is cream-colored. Her wardrobe is casual yet elegant and promising. Lots of black, blue, red and gray.
Claire is a very interesting girl, she was brought up in a home with one parent, a drunken child beating father who always took out his anger on the poor girl. One day, when she was about 12, she wised up and actually killed her father, how, is her little secret, but lets just say the police couldn't find evidence that she did it. After that she was placed in foster care, but ran away after her 16th birthday. She has a bad view of the world, she hates people, especially the people that give her shit, the ones that give her odd looks, the ones that talk about her behind her back. The people she thinks should be condemmed to hell for all eternity. Like Mason, she is special, maybe more special than Mason, for she can read minds, but she can also levitate and move things at her own will, she could turn a toothpick into a deadly bullet. Her acomplices would describe her as dark, brooding and ultimately malicious and sadistic. However, only her acomplices, her friends, can bring out the good side in her, where she can attempt to be funny and have a good time, but she isn't very trusting. She has never loved anyone in her life, not even herself, so when she realizes that she may love Mason, she is frightened and wary, trying to avoid him.


Kyle

This dynamic guy has wide eyes the color of milk chocolate. His fine, straight, red hair is very short and is worn in an attractive, complex style. He is a medium height and has a masculine build. His skin is china-white. He has long-fingered hands. His wardrobe is impractacal and flattering, with a mostly brown and black color scheme.
Kyle is a rather interesting fellow as well, he may seem enthusiastic and friendly on the outside, but on the inside he is very malicious and scheming. He is the technical guy of the operation, he often helps Mason with his planning, though he often gets kicked out due to his annoying nature, which Mason can't stand half the time. Kyle has the power to bring people under his control for a limited ammount of time and influence them to do this for him. His parents were killed in an auto crash that was more or less his fault. He had been trying to get his father to drive him to a toystore, and as he was doing that, his father lost control of the car and smashed it into a semi tractor trailer, somehow he miraculously survived.

Seth

This intimidating gentleman has deep-set gray eyes. His luxurious, straight, yellow hair is waist-length and is worn in a simple, precise style. He is very tall and has a graceful build. His skin is pale. He has prominent ears. His wardrobe is plain, yet promising.
Seth is a rather 'tough but fair' kind of guy, he is very protective of his friends, especialy Mason as Claire, and is often teased about being a ''guard dog." But he doesn't mind. The whole operation would be lost without Mason and Claire. They are his only hope. He acts as an older brother to Claire, since they grew up close together and have known each other since their early childhood. He came from an abusive family, who always treated him as if he did everything wrong, even when he made achievements, saying that he was never good enough, that they wished he hadn't even been born. He joined Claire in running away at a young age.

Dalton

This foul-mouthed guy has deep-set midnight black eyes.
He has fine, curly, neck-length hair is the color of dark chocolate, and is worn in a businesslike, uncomplicated style.
He has a broad-shouldered build. His skin is deeply-tanned.
Dalton was once part of a gang in New York City, until he was almost killed when three gangs ganged up on his gang and mobbed them. He is a very tough guy, but very smart and aggressive he also has a special power, which is his strength, he is the strongest of the group and has vowed to protect them, even if it means dying. They are his family now.


Alice

This girl puts you in mind of a dishonest shyster. She has slanted gray eyes that are like two pieces of steel. Her luxurious, wavy, honey hair is worn in a style that reminds you of a river. She is short and has an amazonian build. Her skin is light-colored. She has prominent ears. Her wardrobe is revealing, and is completely blue and white.
Alice has been on the streets since she was a 5 year old girl, she had to learn how to steal in order to survive. She loaths the world and everyone in it. As she was growing up on the streets, she was often harrassed by men for her beautiful nature, she was also beaten by gangs who wanted someone to pick on. She wishes destruction on those who have harmed her. Even if it means taking out the rest of the world with them. The only people she cares about is her group of friends, especially Claire, since they share similar views.
